It runs entirely on your device using Apple’s on-device intelligence—no Aethyr account and no Aethyr conversation server. It can file what matters into the right space only when you choose.
ADHD overwhelm often begins as a tangle of unsaid thoughts. Getting them out to something that never judges, never forgets and never leaves your device can turn a spiral into something you can hold.
Exactly what happens
Aethyr has no remote copy of your conversation. We cannot read it, retrieve it or use it to train a model.
What “on-device” means
There is no account or conversation server receiving your words. Aethyr does not send the conversation to OpenAI, Google, Anthropic or another AI provider. Locally saved information remains behind your iPhone or iPad’s passcode, Face ID or Touch ID protections.

A separate optional feature
Talk to Aethyr itself has no online-search step. Optional Safe Search is separate: it explains the lookup and asks permission before sending only the search words you typed to the named information provider. It never sends your conversation or saved content.

On supported devices with Apple Intelligence enabled, Aethyr uses Apple’s local SystemLanguageModel. If it is unavailable, Aethyr uses its own local support rather than silently sending your words to the cloud.
